The NORTH POLE COLORING CONTEST RULES

The 2021 Yulefest Committee is inviting all Upshur County PreK-6th grade students to participate in the
North Pole Coloring Contest sponsored by Goudarzi and Young, L.L.P. There will be four divisions.
Division 1 – PreK-Kindergarten will color with crayons a picture provided by the Chamber of Commerce.
Division 2 – 1 st -2 nd grades will color with crayons a picture provided by the Chamber of Commerce.
Division 3 – 3 rd -4 th Grades will color with crayons a picture provided by the Chamber of Commerce.
Division 4 – 5 th -6 th Grades will color and decorate the original picture using trims, glitter, beads, buttons, etc.
For all divisions:
1. The picture must be glued onto poster board or cardboard, the same size of the picture, for stability.
2. The winners will be displayed on November 11, at PROCOMP, during the ARTWALK, Art
on the Bricks. We ask that the adult (parent/art teacher) provide their own easel for the display.
3. Work must be done entirely by the student.
4. Only one entry per child.

Awards will be presented by Goudarzi and Young, L.L.P., for 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd place winners, respectively,
in all 4 divisions. Winning entries will be displayed in PROCOMP during the ARTWALK, Art on the
Bricks, on November 11, 2021.

All entries must be turned in to the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce no later than Tuesday,
November 8, 2021, by 4:30pm. Winning entries will be displayed on the square from November 11-
